UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s)

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. At its heart are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are an urgent call for action by all countries - developed and developing - in a global partnership.

Fineline support SDGs 1, 2, 3, 7, 11, 12 and 13 and are proud of the part we are playing in achieving the Global Goals:

1. No Poverty – End poverty in all its forms everywhere

2. Zero Hunger – End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture

7. Affordable and Clean Energy – Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all

12. Responsible consumption and production – Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns

13. Climate Action – Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts

FADs work extensively in Retrofit, tackling climate action, in compliance with all PAS2035 requirements where publicly funded, and supporting the aspiration to end poverty and hunger. The design solutions we create within the social housing sector enable home occupiers to save money, energy and carbon enabling improvements in their day-to-day lives. Retrofit promotes energy efficiency, consumption and production and by taking a ‘whole house approach’ we assess fabric, services and renewable options for home improvements

3. Good Health and Well-being – Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages

11. Sustainable Cities and Communities – Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable

FADs overarching philosophy is to improve lives – by design. Our work in architecture, surveying and Retrofit promotes well-being and inclusivity. Irrespective of whether a project is domestic or commercial we aspire to create beautiful spaces to live and work. We are helping to create sustainable cities and communities in all that we do
